Chiara has lived in England, Spain and Italy, and currently works as an English teacher in the UK.
After graduating in Translation and Interpreting (English, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese) from the University of Bologna at Forli, she then graduated with a Masters in TESOL and Translation from Aston University in Birmingham.
Chiara is currently completing her PhD in Linguistics at the University of Leeds, researching the teaching of English language listening skills in Italian secondary schools.
Her research interests cover the range of language teaching methodologies, and especially the development of listening skills, comparative grammar and the application of language skills in the corporate world.
She is passionate about books, cooking, travel, art and coffee, speaks Spanish and Italian, as well as English, and is working on improving her German and Portuguese.
